Job Description

As a User Interface & User Experience (UI/UX) Designer at Corcentric, you will join a collaborative team within an ambitious, entrepreneurial global organization. As a talented, motivated individual with proven user interface and visual design skills, you will create elegant, intuitive user experiences across multiple interfaces that provide a seamless customer experience for Corcentric's suite of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications. You will collaborate with customers, product managers, and other Corcentric internal stakeholders to research and analyze the end-to-end customer experience and develop world class experiences for Corcentric's solutions.

This key position reports to the Lead UI/UX Designer within our Product Management team. We're a dedicated, down-to-earth group in a growing organization offering plenty of opportunity. We look forward to adding you into the mix!

As a UI/UX Designer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Understanding customer needs and analyzing user interface problems.
  • Engaging with customers and internal stakeholders to establish feedback loops and conduct user experience research
  • Driving the evolution of the product by translating business goals and requirements into on-brand, intuitive and delightful software design/functionality
  • Creating user-centered designs by considering market analysis, customer feedback, and usability findings
  • Creating process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups as needed to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors
  • Generating and promoting user interface designs using pixel-perfect wireframes, mockups and high-fidelity prototypes (rapid) with rich interactions and animations within a strict set of brand guidelines
  • Building and maintaining the corporate design system across all products
  • Working with Product Managers to determine approach and timelines

Requirements

You'll need to have:

  • Professional experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar
  • A portfolio of work demonstrating proven experience creating user-centered design solutions across multiple interfaces and screen sizes (please include with application)
  • Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
  • Proficiency in a variety of design/prototyping tools such as Axure, Sketch, Figma, UXPin or similar
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Excellent grasp of typography, color, rhythm, alignment, patterns, balance, texture and layout
  • Experience working collaboratively with product managers and software development teams
  • Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
  • Familiarity with the technical considerations needed when designing for the web and mobile
  • Excellent prototyping skills (HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript)
  • Visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guides
  • Experience collaborating or running user research

It's great if you also have:

  • A Master's in degree user experience (UX), human-computer interaction (HCI) or similar formal UX training or certification
  • Psychology-relevant formal training or educational focus
