UI/UX Designer

Summary:

We're seeking a talented UI Designer to join our team and play a key role in shaping the visual identity and user experience of our technology decision platform. As a UI Designer, you'll collaborate closely with our Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to create intuitive interfaces that delight our users and drive engagement.

What we are building at AuthenCIO:

We are an early-stage startup currently working in stealth. We are building an intelligence-based marketplace/decisioning platform for the discovery, curation, evaluation & decisioning of software. The scope of our product is global. The team comes with experience in founding startups, raising capital, working in venture capital & investment banking. Their pedigree comes from the top engineering colleges and B-schools.

What we are looking for:

As a User Interface Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing UI consistency and elevating visual communication standards. Working closely with the Tech & Product team, you'll delve into understanding our customer base to craft visually appealing and user friendly interfaces that enhance the UI and enrich the visual experience for our end users.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll translate project requirements into compelling mockups and ensure a seamless user experience through the creation of sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes, visual elements, and close collaboration with front-end developers to implement and optimize interfaces.

The ideal candidate should have experience in creating mockups to present to teams, collecting feedback and creating a quality piece of work. This candidate should have strong creative and design skills and be familiar with various design technologies.

What you will do:
• Design visually compelling and user-friendly interfaces for our platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and project requirements.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and iterate based on feedback.
• Develop and maintain a cohesive design system to ensure consistency across all aspects of the platform.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI design and user experience.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field.
• Proven experience as a UI Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creative thinking.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders.
