UI/UX Designer

About the role:

Tactiq is seeking a UI/UX Designer to create visually compelling and user-friendly interfaces and features for our digital products. You will work closely with our product, development, and UX teams to translate user needs and business goals into engaging, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing designs.

What you’ll do:

• Design and prototype intuitive, user-centric interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders to translate user flows and wireframes into high-fidelity visual designs.
• Ensure consistency across all visual elements and uphold brand guidelines.
• Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively.

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a UI Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, especially in web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Experience working in an agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions to ensure functionality, usability, and aesthetics of final product.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with technical design combining design skills and technical knowledge.
• Familiarity with digital product development and development principles.
• Previous experience with Jira is a plus.

This role is a contract position, with an expected duration of 6 months with the potential for extension.
