What We Need
UMortgage is seeking a dynamic, creative, and proactive team member to join our team as UI/UX Designer. As a UI/UX Designer at UMortgage, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience and visual aesthetics of our website, email, and software applications. You will collaborate closely with our marketing, technology, and sales teams, to create compelling and user-friendly designs that align with our brand and business goals.
What You’ll Do

Conduct user research to understand customer needs and pain points.

Analyze data and feedback to inform design decisions and create user-centered solutions.

Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to visualize and communicate design ideas effectively.

Develop visually appealing and consistent design assets, including icons, graphics, and layouts that adhere to UMortgage's brand guidelines.

Ensure that all designs are responsive and accessible across various devices and screen sizes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and sales leadership, to bring designs from concept to implementation.

Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs and improve the user experience continually.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design.

Utilize tools like HotJar, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console to understand user behavior across web pages and proactively recommend and implement changes to create a more cohesive experience.

Enhance skills through innovation, presenting solutions to design process, and seeking educational outlets for continued growth.

Additional responsibilities related to business needs.
What You Need
-
Bachelor’s degree of Arts and/or Fine Arts with a focus on graphic design, UX/UI Design, or a related field.

Proven experience in UI/UX design, with a portfolio showcasing previous work.

Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, Jira, Stripo or similar.

Proficiency in Agile frameworks.

Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

3+ years of UX/UI experience: Web App and Mobile App design preferred.
