UI/UX Designer

Job title: UI/UX Designer
Duration:6-7 months(contract)
Pay rate: $68/hr on W2
Location:100% Remote

Key Skills Required: UI/UX, Visual Design, Video/Graphic Design, Wireframes, Sketching, Typography, Visual Presentation, Web/App Design, Problem Solving.

Job Responsibilities:

• Advanced design skills to create visual imagery for presentations and other related concepts that may include executive presentations, videography, graphical elements for both digital and print.
• Design within Global Technology and establish a design practice.
• Lead projects, establish direction, and advance projects by others on a per-project basis.
• Responsible for creating wireframes, layouts, and information design.
• Usability reviews.
• Break down problems into constituent parts for better understanding.
• Design Conceptual UI Mock-ups (Visual Design).
• Create Style Specifications & UI Assets.
• Understand client needs that form inputs to the UI Designs.
• Has knowledge of basic design principles like affordance, grouping, consistency, gestalt principles.
• Knows basic heuristic principles of UI Design.
• Knows basic User Research techniques.

Required Skills:

• Proven exceptional ability to apply and perform design skills, including drawing/sketching, typography, ideation, color theory, use of texture, spacing, and scale, visual presentation development and layout.
• Experience in web/app design and development is a bonus.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Environmental Design, Fine Arts and minimum of 4 years progressively technically sophisticated experience in design
