UI/UX Designer

The Luxor team has built various solutions for Bitcoin mining and compute power including a globally distributed mining pool firmware an ASIC Trading platform hashrate derivatives markets and the leading mining data & content website Hashrate Index. Our product suite is growing rapidly and as such we are looking to expand our product team to support our next stage of growth.

This is a remote role. This role will report to the CPO. The ideal candidate is based between UTC-8 and UTC-0 timezones (Anywhere from Canada to Argentina).

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in designing web and mobile applications.

• Deep understanding of user-centered design and an approach to problem-solving that considers the broader user journey and behavioral goals of the product.

• Experience being involved in all stages of the design lifecycle — ideation prototyping user testing and final production.

• Proficient in Figma for wireframing rapid prototyping and collaboration.

• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator Photoshop After Effects) for creating high-quality visual designs and animations (experience with animation and video design is a plus).

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present and explain your design choices.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for Luxor’s growing product suite.

• Design visually appealing and functional UIs from concept to delivery ensuring that all design elements are consistent with the Luxor brand.

• Create interactive prototypes and gather feedback from stakeholders to iterate on design ideas.

• Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure that design specifications are implemented accurately.
