This role offers an exciting opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to contribute to engaging mobile game experiences in a fully remote and collaborative environment. You will play a key role in shaping intuitive interfaces and visually compelling designs that enhance player interaction and satisfaction. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll help bring game concepts to life through user-centered design and polished visual execution. Accountabilities:
- Design intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces and user experiences for mobile games.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups to support the full design lifecycle.
- Develop in-game UI elements such as HUDs, menus, pop-ups, and icons that enhance gameplay.
- Collaborate with game designers, artists, and producers to align UI/UX with overall game vision and mechanics.
- Ensure visual consistency and contribute to the overall look and feel of the game.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, usability testing, and player behavior insights.
- Apply UX best practices to improve usability, accessibility, and player engagement.
- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design for mobile games (mid to senior level).
- Strong visual design skills with the ability to adapt to different artistic styles (stylized to semi-realistic).
- Solid understanding of UX principles, usability, and responsive layout design for mobile platforms.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Figma, Illustrator, or similar.
- Experience designing end-to-end interfaces, from concept to final polished UI.
- Portfolio showcasing work on released commercial game projects.
- Strong knowledge of typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Good communication skills in English (upper-intermediate or higher).
- Passion for gaming and understanding of player experience.
- Nice to have: experience with usability testing, game metrics analysis, and free-to-play mechanics.
