UK Masterclass | Technology - 13 October

Are you ready to delve yourself into the world of high frequency trading? Do you want to learn more about the role of advanced technology within trading at IMC? Participate in our UK Masterclass | Technology on Saturday, October 13th in London.
During this Masterclass, you will discover more about the world of high frequency trading and technology at IMC. Experience how it is like to be working on the edge between trading and software engineering. You will get to know everything about the basics of interacting with a financial exchange and how to write a strategy that is able to handle market data and calculate profitability. You will explore all of this during our home-built coding challenge!
Who are you?

• Enrolled in a UK university
• Studying a relevant degree (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field of study)
• Graduating in 2025 or 2026
• Sufficient with Java or C++

What can you expect?

• Lectures to learn more about the world of high frequency trading and technology at IMC
• Algorithmic optimisation coding challenge, in your preferred language
• Q&A's to meet with our Software Engineers and learn more about working at IMC
• Free lunch, drinks and snacks

The event will be held in London from 10:00 until 18:00. We expect you to travel to the location yourself (travel costs will be reimbursed). Please bring your own laptop to the event for the coding challenge.
