Some monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position, while others patrol areas and do security checks. In factories and offices, Security Officers provide protection for equipment and workers along with checking the credentials of vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises. Wed-Sun, 11PM-7AM $18.75 P/HR. Qualifications: • At least 21 years of age or older • High school diploma or equivalent • Must have a Level II, Noncommissioned security license (via TOPS) a Level 3 or 4 will NOT suffice • Strong customer service skills • Familiarity with report writing • Monitoring and surveillance experience • Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks • One year previous security experience is required! • Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods • Must be able to type 35 wpm • Previous Building Security Officer is a PLUS! • Data Center experience is a PLUS! • Must be SHARP • Entails client interfacing • Knowledge of access control • Computer savvy • Ability to walk up to 5-10 miles • Good phone and/or radio etiquette
