Level 2 Security Officer Job Summary • Observe and report any incidents involving designated job sites. • Guards, patrols, and monitors premises to prevent theft, violence, and rule infractions. • Gate Guard duties General Accountabilities • Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. • Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. • Calls police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons. • Circulates among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property. • Patrols premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. • *The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Job Qualifications • Education: High school diploma or equivalent • Experience: 1-2 years of related experience • Licenses/Certifications: Security guard license from state • Must be able to meet and continue to meet all applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers and Drivers (if applicable). • Must have valid, current driver’s license • Must have own vehicle • Must have smartphone • Must pass background check and drug screening • Maintain a neat a professional appearance at all times • Excellent Customer Service & Communication Skills Skills • Excellent verbal and written communication • Active listening • Critical thinking Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $15.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Life insurance • Referral program • Vision insurance Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Night shift • Overnight shift Work Location: In person
