Unarmed Security Officer (San Diego, CA)

Job description · Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, accidents, and prevent fires. MUST LIVE IN THE San Diego, CA AREA 15-30 minutes. · Conduct foot patrols · Monitor activities. · Wellness checks · Access control · Safety escorts · Using provided communication devices. · Represent UPS services. · Properly wear the issued uniform · Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services · Provide friendly services to customers, employees and visitors. · Other duties as described in Post Orders. Physical requirements: · Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols. · Able to stand 8-12 hours a day. · Able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally) Shifts Available:Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: • 8 hour Shift • Swing Shift • Overtime • Weekends as needed Ability to Commute: • San Diego , CA 92102 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • San Diego, CA 92102: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Evening shift • Weekends as needed Education: • High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: • Security: 2 years (Required) Ability to Commute: • San Diego, CA 92102 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • San Diego, CA 92102: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
