Unarmed Security Officer

• We're looking for professional, dependable, committed unarmed Security Officer's who can pay attention to detail, has valuable work ethics • Positive attitudes • Great communication skills • Work well with and around others • Proper handling of valuables including medications and securing them in a Z-bag and placed in a locked cabinet in the security office. • Ensuring belongings are secured in a brown paper bag and tagged with a label only to include the patient last name, room number, date and the name of the officer responsible for documenting such. • Conduct hourly foot patrols of the property interior and exterior of the building. During perimeter patrols, ensuring all doors are secured properly. • Complete daily activity logs • On occasions, familiarize self with Company SOP to maintain consistency of assigned duties • Assist staff as needed with visitor escorts, contractor escorts if requested and all pharmacy deliveries • Review of cameras and other duties as assigned • Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment and access points; permitting entry • Obtain help by calling supervisors/local law enforcement • Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers • Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses • Maintain environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls • Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements • Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed • Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises • Provide excellent customer service • Adhere to all company service and operating standards • Remain in compliance with local, state and federal regulations • Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers • Protect the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues • Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control and accident investigations. • Shift availability: (0900-1600 Saturday-Wednesday) (1600-2300 Saturday-Wednesday) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour Work Location: In person
