Job Description

Updox, an EverCommerce solution, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to manage product development, product launch and implementation projects. Partnering with internal stakeholders across our organization and external stakeholders that include EHR partners, third party vendors and customers, you will shepherd multiple product development and launch, technology improvements and customer implementation projects. And ensure project goals, project schedule deadlines and stakeholder expectations are met.

You have a strong project management background and preferably experience in healthcare related projects. Being very detail oriented, you love building processes and plans to ensure that projects are executed successfully meeting the intended goals. You are a self-starter that loves working with teams built across different areas in the organization such as engineering, QA, DevOps, marketing, sales, onboarding and customer support. You love steering projects to build and launch products, striving to provide great satisfaction to both internal and external stakeholders. Having a servant leadership mindset and believing your job serves a purpose beyond just the paycheck, you love playing a key role in planning, facilitating, and coaching the teams you project manage.

Responsibilities
  • Successfully manage multiple software development, solution integration, product launch and implementation services projects simultaneously
  • Collaborate to develop and successfully execute product launch project plans with product, engineering, devops, marketing, sales, onboarding, support and finance teams as well as third party vendors and EHR partners teams
  • Work with different internal and external stakeholders to establish comprehensive project plans with clear timeline, milestones and expectations on delivery
  • Coordinate, plan and manage API integration implementations with Updox partners all the way from pre-sales support through partner's postproduction rollout to their customers
  • Manage project schedules, scope, execution and overall organization to ensure deliverables and dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed up
  • Facilitate cross-team orchestration, tracking and following up with internal and external dependencies
  • Monitor risks, issues and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify resolutions to address them in advance
  • Conduct regular status meetings to track projects and communicate progress, issues and resolutions to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Produce and maintain project documentation, including statements of work, meeting notes, status reports, change management, and approvals
  • Ensure a positive customer experience and overall customer and stakeholder satisfaction with Updox deliverables
  • Ensure proper closure and handoffs on all projects managed
  • Other project management related tasks that may be identified as the organization grows

Where

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with multiple office locations across the U.S. and Canada. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States, though we have an office in Dublin, Ohio, where several Updox teammates work. If you're near one of our offices and want to work in-office, we can set that up, or this role can be 100% remote. You must be eligible to work in the United States in order to qualify for this role. This role may require periodic travel.

Experience and skills we're seeking:
  • 5+ years of experience planning and executing multiple software development, product launch and implementation projects simultaneously, both medium and large scale.
  • Deep understanding of project and customer management and ability to discuss technical and business project requirements in detail when required.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
  • Great critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills, ability to identify solutions and ensure progress in the face of obstacles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven initiative and resourcefulness to meet project milestones, internal team needs, and customer expectations.
  • Experience managing projects in the healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
