US AP Analyst

Melio is looking for a self-motivated US AP Analyst to join a collaborative and dynamic global Finance team. The AP Analyst will work closely with our bookkeepers, senior accountant, assistant controller, and controller. The position involves completing day-to-day AP procedures including but not limited to credit card reconciliation, vendor payment cycle, and recording AP invoices. We are looking for a team member who loves brainstorming and enjoys working both independently and in collaboration with others. If you are solution-oriented, passionate about data and working cross-functionally this role is for you!

How you’ll make an impact:

• Complete payments by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
• Analyze invoices for proper coding and attention to detail when inputting invoices
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Proactively communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding discrepancies
• Responsible for vendor maintenance and setup, will be in charge of the entire vendor process in the US 
• Support with the implementation of new tools and processes as well as participate in special projects as assigned 

What we’d love to see:

• 1+ years of experience in a similar position
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills are a must, particular emphasis on Excel 
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus 
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Effective research, analytical, and problem-solving skills 
• Have a Meticulous and thorough working approach, and a very high attention to detail
• Excellent team working skills, and cross-functional management 
• Perform well under pressure, with outstanding organization and ability to prioritize
• Passion to impact a hyper-growth start-up environment 
• Have an interest in the payments, financial services, technology or FX industry
