The US Associate Business Director MDS B2B role develops and executes the US B2B strategy for the MDS business to drive profitable, sustainable financial growth. The US Associate Business Director MDS B2B partners with cross-functional team resources, including Marketing, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Medical and R&D associates, in support of US B2B customer initiatives and commercial development efforts. The US Associate Business Director MDS B2B supports brand marketing activities by establishing and maintaining a strong competitive position through strategic and tactical identification of marketing and commercial opportunities; working with the marketing teams to develop US MDS B2B promotional and communication programs; and executing the US MDS B2B digital strategy.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop & execute the B2B US strategy for the MDS business to drive profitable, sustainable financial growth
  • Achieve US B2B financial/budget expectations
  • Partner with Channel Management, Account Management and Customer Service teams to achieve revenue and profitability goals
  • Support the B2B global platform and execution of the B2B global strategy for the MDS business
  • Manage product line pricing strategy & operational executions to meet business objectives
  • Accountable for demand management by developing recommendations on product sales forecasts and production inventory issues.

About you:

The candidate will be accountable to develop and execute the US business strategy to drive significant revenue growth across B2B customer segments, including pharma, compounders, kit packers and med tech. B2B is a key initiative for the Medication Delivery Solutions Business Unit and hence, provides a lot of visibility at the leadership level.

The candidate will collaborate closely with the US region, channel management and global platforms in developing the strategy and implementing Sales & Marketing initiatives to best serve US B2B customers and drive financial performance and growth on this business.

The successful candidate will need to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with very little supervision. Resourcefulness and the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities are key.

This role is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate business leadership as well as provide for platform leadership developmental opportunities.

Education and experience required:

  • Strong knowledge of working in a B2B environment, understanding of pharma, kitpacking and the med tech industry and exposure to cross-functional processes / requirements related to the pharma sector are critical.
  • Demonstration of strong product management, strategic, and leadership skills. Previous P&L responsibility is a plus.
  • Experience in developing strategy as well as demonstrating success in executing key initiatives is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience with a minimum of 5 years of marketing experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of life sciences industry experience; B2B, Pharma., & global experience is preferred
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time
