US Credit Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analysis – We have one of the largest High Yield and Leveraged Loan databases in the US & Europe. The next step is creating value-add. Produce earnings reports, financial updates, new deal reviews and market research

• Operations – At 9fin we process a lot of data. While the majority of this is automated, analysts are responsible for audit and sense-checking the data flow, working quickly to ensure clients receive fast, reliable, news alerts and financial data
• Relationship & Product Evangelism – Support clients, answer questions on our platform and provide insight. Gather feedback and work with the product team to develop the 9fin offering, taking the lead on new and exciting developments

Requirements

If you are a graduate, or recent graduate with the following attributes, we are interested in hearing from you:

• Communication – Demonstrate clear and effective written and verbal communication, conveying messages accurately and concisely. Exhibit strong attention to detail, taking pride in your work
• Problem Solving – Enjoy interpreting information and constructing effective solutions to complex problems. Be a team player, but also able to effectively work alone (although help is always on hand if you need)
• Knowledge – A familiarity with financial statements and the basics of credit analysis. Have an adequate grasp of Microsoft Excel
• Drive – Bring an inquisitive and passionate mindset, demonstrating a strong interest in the development and dynamics of financial (and especially) capital markets. A self-starter, you should be up for the challenge of a role that will morph and transform as we continue to grow

You will also be eligible for equity options. These are subject to typical provisions which include 4 year vesting – 1 year cliff.
