The team you'll be part of

Cloud and Network Services (CNS)

As Nokia's growth engine, we create value for communication service providers and enterprise customers by leading the transition to cloud-native software and as-a-service delivery models. Our inclusive team of dreamers, doers and disruptors push the limits from impossible to possible.

Within the CNS business group, the candidate will be in the CNS Global Business Center (GBC) and specifically part of the US Majors Sales Team. We will work to develop and nurture relationships with key customer stakeholders. Define and implement upgrade strategies for CNS installed base, coordinating with the Business Unit. Uncover opportunities for expanding or net new business for CARE or non-CARE business and working with various team members to win the business.

What you will learn and contribute to

As part of our team, you will:

  • Be responsible for Managing, Developing and Growing the US Majors Security solutions business in North America.
  • Develop/execute engagement strategies across his/her accounts.
  • Define strategies and actions to develop opportunities for Nokia.
  • Manage Sales forecasts on CRM tools and platform.
  • Be able to successfully win business in a highly complex and competitive market segment while achieving year over year growth.
  • Be capable of articulating Nokia's value proposition to the customer and translate Nokia technology products into innovative solutions with sound business cases that effectively drive investment.
  • Be responsible for the e2e selling process from identifying the opportunities, value bases selling, relationship management, tender/proposal, finalizing of deals/negotiation to closing of the sales.
  • Define all tactics and strategies to address and mitigate competitive threats against existing Nokia's installed base and/or new opportunities.
  • Build effective relationships with the appropriate Nokia partners to deliver a holistic support model.

Your skills and experience

You must have:

  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience working in ICT (Information and Communications Technology) industries at senior sales levels.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience successfully selling security software and solutions.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, results oriented organization where leadership, risk-taking, teamwork and commitment to execution are essential.
  • Must be extremely articulate with strong presentation skills, comfortable presenting in front of senior level customer audiences.
  • The ability to negotiate using a Win/Win philosophy required.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Technology expertise in emerging technologies
  • Knowledge on mobile networks, core networks and networking
  • A clear record of achievement and closing complex deals
  • Experience in managing partnerships would be an added advantage.
