Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager with expertise in the life sciences sector. This individual should be deeply driven to not only meet but exceed sales targets. We value team players who can harmoniously collaborate within our sales organization, yet are also adept at independently managing the entirety of the sales process, from prospecting to successful conclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Rapidly deliver results and outcomes.
- Spearhead prospecting and demand generation across diverse customer segments.
- Successfully drive customers to closure, adeptly navigating organizational intricacies.
- Play a pivotal role in refining the sales collateral and process.
- Offer valuable customer and market insights to shape future products, solutions, and strategy.
- Expand the customer base, encompassing both nurturing existing accounts and prospecting new ones through:
- Leveraging personal networks.
- Pursuing leads from marketing campaigns.
- Participating in product showcases.
- Capitalizing on referrals from existing customers.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales objectives.
- Represent the company at trade and vendor events as required.
- Enhance overall satisfaction within designated customer accounts.
- Achieve retention targets through effective account management.
- Seize business opportunities within each account, turning challenges into sales prospects.
Qualifications & Skills
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in life science SaaS sales.
- Prior exposure to ELN & LIMS is a plus.
- A proven track record of consistently meeting or surpassing challenging sales goals.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to connect with a diverse range of stakeholders, from lab directors and scientists to project team leaders and executives.
- A proactive and self-starting attitude.
- An academic degree in life sciences is highly desirable.
- Native proficiency in English is mandatory. Fluency in additional languages is beneficial.
- Bachelor degree at minimum, advanced degree preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate customer time zone needs is crucial
- Flexible work hours.
- Fully remote.
