Job Description

About Us

At Blank Street, we believe great coffee should be an everyday ritual. With shops across Brooklyn, Manhattan, Boston, DC, and London, we’re the first-ever brand to offer affordable high-quality coffee.

Blank Street originated in an effort to change the specialty coffee status quo. Starting with small-format shops and continuing with a limited menu and top-of-the-line tech, we’ve always been focused on simplifying the coffee experience. We partner with amazing local vendors and brands, and have some of the best baristas and HQ members out there on our team. Love coffee? Keep reading.

What’s Brewing?

As a Senior Marketing Associate at Blank Street, you'll play a crucial role in supporting various marketing initiatives to acquire new customers, enhance brand awareness and engage with our customers. Reporting to the Head of US Marketing, you'll have the opportunity to contribute across multiple areas of marketing, including digital, offline, and community outreach. If you're passionate about coffee and marketing, this is the perfect opportunity to join a dynamic team and make an impact.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with Expansion Team to manage store launch calendar
  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, and in-store channels
  • Manage and maintain digital presence of store listings across Google, Yelp and Apple Maps
  • Facilitate integration of Blank Street stores within local neighborhoods, ensuring exceptional customer experiences
  • Analyze and build reports on store opening performance and marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
  • Coordinate new product launches and maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance brand image
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate production of marketing collateral
  • Support customer marketing and retention plans, collaborating with global teams
  • Implement community outreach initiatives and analyze campaign performance metrics
  • You will work closely with our UK team, based in London, on Global projects

Who you are

  • 3-4 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on offline and in-store channels. Background in retail marketing and/or hospitality is preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to execute marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Willingness to travel between markets, including New York City, Boston, and Washington D.C.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset
  • Passion for coffee and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Ability to use a mixture of logic, methods, and previous experience to problem solve and drive effective solutions
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with local communities and neighborhoods in New York City is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work some early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as required.
  • Has a strong sense of accountability and ownership of their work. Proactively comes to the table with opportunities, ideas, and solutions

Benefits

  • $85,000 - $100,000 annual base salary
