US Testing and Monitoring Analyst (remote)
The Role:
Capital on Tap is looking for a Compliance Monitoring and Testing Analyst to support our Compliance Program. This position is responsible for conducting the US testing and monitoring processes which are required to comply with regulatory and bank partner requirements.
You should have a solid understanding of small business lending, credit card servicing and collections, UDAAP, ECOA, and standard testing practices. You will identify, track and contribute to mitigating potential compliance risks, enabling the business to grow responsibly while moving with urgency and focus.
What you'll be doing:
- Contribute to improvements in the regulatory compliance monitoring & testing framework to provide strong risk-based monitoring of regulatory compliance.
- Ensure second line monitoring reviews are delivered on time and to an appropriate standard of quality.
- Oversee the tracking of corrective action plans and manage closure validation.
- Provide reporting to the Head of Compliance.
- Communicate clearly when risks or corrective actions are identified.
- Contribute to the enhancement of compliance processes by identifying opportunities for improved adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Contribute to the development and execution of plans to address remediation efforts and testing review findings, which may include process updates, documentation and/or training.
- Engage with our partner bank on testing activities as required.
What we are looking for:
- Prior experience of compliance monitoring or auditing
- Proven track record in developing practical mitigation solutions through working with the business.
- Knowledge of regulatory environments, key legislative requirements and practical implications would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels of the organization.
- Investigative and analytical thinking.
- Strong Excel or basic SQL knowledge is an advantage.
