You'll make an impact by:
The Image Editor is responsible to reviewing every image created in the studio by a team of staff photographers as well as reviewing vendor provided and Looklet imagery. The focus of the job is to prepare the images for publication to one or more of our ecommerce sites. This position also maintains quality assurance for offshore retouching services.
Any additional required corrections will need to be made using advanced Photoshop techniques such as clipping paths, balancing backgrounds, eliminating unwanted imperfections, wrinkles, dust and rigging tools. The technical ability of this associate will provide the critical consistency of all images. This associate will also maintain the image database that resides in the studio and prepare image transfers to production applications. The environment is extremely fast paced by photography standards with an average item count over 50 items/bday for fashion and 30-40 items/day for still life.
Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Photography, Computer Graphics, or Graphic Arts OR 3+ years' experience in photo and image production or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in photography production, e-commerce product, and lifestyle photo editing
• Excellent photo-retouching skills necessary with a keen eye on detail
• Retouching skills include but are not limited to, clipping, masking, color correcting, adjustment layers, liquefying, compositing, using history states, creating, and using actions, raw image editing workflows and digital file formats
• Maintains an organized, transparent work structure and flow from start to finish
• Exporting into correct formats for print, web and video while maintaining high-level working files
• Soft video and motion graphic editing a plus REQUIRED SOFTWARE
• Strong understanding and experience with Adobe Creative Suite software (Photoshop, Bridge, InDesign, Acrobat Pro), including experience with non-destructive photo manipulation and retouching.
• Will provide required software and equipment PORTFOLIO REQUIRED

The annual salary range for this position is $78,750.00-$131,250.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
- Stock equity incentives
