As a Senior Manager of Accessibility/Inclusive Design , you will be responsible for the resource investment strateg y, user research in support of and design execution for our Accessibility p rogram. In Walmart International, we strive to meet the bar set by our markets and to best serve our customers and Associates in those markets.
You will partner within UX with our User Research Lead er , the Content Strategy (and Localization) Team, and our Global Accessibility Practice and with cross-functional partners - Product Management, Product Engineering and other business leaders to ensure we maximize our opportunities for Inclusive Design .
What you'll do:
- Lead a team of accessibility professionals to review and contribute to designs across our portfolio to ensure inclusion from release forward.
- Chart out a path for the team to grow and prosper considering location strategy for talent, career training and individual enrichment culminating in a spirit of "it's worthwhile to invest my career in Walmart and with the International UX Practice ."
- Mentor and coach the your staff ensuring a sense of connection, support and accountability.
- Partner with UX Research to define learning objectives for research investments for maximum impact for inclusive design usability.
- Evangelize and champion Inclusive Design processes, methods, and ways of working to bring the collective down the journey with you.

- Enjoy storytelling as a core part of your leadership approach and practice.
Your Qualifications:
- 5-7 years leading Accessibility/Inclusive Design in a complex dynamic organization.
- Demonstrated ability to influence large and highly matrixed organizations through strong presentation and analytical skills.
- Masters Degree in Human Factors, Human Computer Interaction, or Interaction Design preferred or a Bachelors Degree with 15+ years of total industry experience.
- A background application development environments working in Agile methodologies in partnership with UX, Engineering and Product Management.
- Demonstrated experience leading geographically distributed teams across multiple timezones .

Travel
Traveling domestically or internationally may be necessary requiring consecutive overnight stays.

The annual salary range for this position is $168,000.00-$252,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
- Stock equity incentives
Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 5 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Option 2: 7 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
2 years' supervisory experience.
