Position Summary...
What you'll do...
The Senior Data Quality Engineer will be responsible to develop and support the enterprise data quality monitoring and remediation capabilities leveraging internal and 3rd party technologies.

Everyone has data, but the sheer volume of data at Walmart can be limitless. In the Data Engineering team, we help Walmart manage this data by building pipelines and data lakes to prepare big data for analysis and unlocking actionable insights in real-time. We also use cross-departmental data and machine learning to build a holistic view of true profitability, saving millions of dollars across item categories and geographies while assisting our leadership in making better decisions faster.
What you'll do:

• Develop the DQ product roadmap i alignment with business goals
• Leverage available technologies to automate the DQ process using ML/AI
• Develop integrations with other critical applications of the Data Management process
• Build a support DQ reporting capabilities
• Perform baseline DQ metrics and data ready assessments to ensure data consistency in alignment with the business domains.

What you'll bring:

• 5 + years Experience with Big Data, GCP, BIG QUERY, Azure, Hadoop
• 5+ years Experience with SQL, PHYTON
• 5 + years supporting ETL process
• Experience with visualization tools is a plus
• Experience with DQ solutions - IDQ, Collibra DQ s a plus

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$168,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
- Stock equity incentives
