What you'll do...
We are looking for a person with strong Android development skills who is motivated to make great android apps with users in mind. They should be willing to learn new technologies and be adaptive to changes in the environment.
About Team:
What you'll do:
- Design and implement core features in the shopping funnel of Sam's Club Android application.
- Work closely with product and design teams to optimize the experience for Android platform.
- Understand complex architecture and add any enhancements to the existing solutions.
- Write unit tests and improve code coverage for unit tests.
- Experiment with new technologies and features and build quick prototypes.
- Participate in managing code & configurations for multiple environments, release management process, creating and maintaining environment configuration and controls, code integrity and work closely with platform team
- Analyzing business requirements, develop UI/UX, support QA and similar steps of the scrum process, work in an agile development environment with a quick turnaround time and iterative builds.
- Leads the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design
- Troubleshoots business and production issues
- Ensures inclusion of business vision and industry trends to enable results that drive business
- Problem solving and troubleshooting design and development issues and provide appropriate solutions
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the junior engineers
- Knowledge of standard tools for optimizing and testing code
- A desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment
What you'll bring:
- Good proficiency in Kotlin / Java.
- Good knowledge on Android SDK.
- Development life cycle of android application.
- Knowledge on supporting tools like figma, charles.
- Knowledge of Design patterns and SOLID principles is a plus.

The annual salary range for this position is $91,000.00-$156,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
- Stock equity incentives
