  As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll lead the work of six to ten engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned Engineering projects by providing pertinent documents, direction, and examples; identifying short- and long- term solutions and timeline; reviewing and approving proposed solutions.

  • Good working experience (5+) in designing and building Production grade ETL pipelines
  • Good knowledge (4+) on Data Modelling, designing, and monitoring of large-scale workloads
  • ML Engineering.: Experience with designing infrastructure and life-cycle for sophisticated ML Applications. Skills Needed: Working and theoretical knowledge of containerized frameworks like Docker, and distributed ML Frameworks such as Kubernetes, Tensor Flow Distributed, etc.
  • ETL: Experience with designing and working on large scale ETL pipelines to move Terabytes of data across systems. Working knowledge of distributed ETL frameworks such as Spark, Hadoop, etc., as well as cluster management frameworks such as Kubernetes and Yarn
  • Good working knowledge and experience of distributed computing frameworks like Spark, Hadoop, etc.
  • Good working knowledge of Java, Python, and Scala
  • Familiarity with model distributed frameworks for ML Applications like Tensorflow, Keras, Dask, etc.
  • Good working experience (2+) in building ML Applications/Platforms

  • Lead and participate in medium-to-large-scale projects by reviewing project requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; writing and developing code; troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes; ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs.
  • Architect scalable and resilient applications around ML and ETL pipeline solutions leveraging Spark, Hadoop, GCP, tensor Flow etc ; and ensure 99.99% uptime for all critical applications.
  • Design and build scalable data lake systems using on-premise and Cloud services, and drive implementation with self-effort and other engineers.
  • Good practical/theoretical knowledge on Machine Learning
  • Experience with deploying and using workflow orchestration tools like Airflow/Astronomer
  • Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in cloud systems in order to migrate workloads from in-house data centers to cloud systems.
  • Perform all benchmarking and comparison testing, documenting the findings, and writing technical papers to train and evangelize ideas with other engineers.
  • Coach and mentor other engineers in data processing, machine learning model development, and equip other engineers with similar skills.
  • Research academic papers, opensource projects, and vendor products to devise optimal software solution to large-scale data problems involving complex graphs and asynchronous events on terabytes of data.
  • Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities
  • Prepare successfully completed projects for patent applications and guide other co-inventors in documenting and preparing relevant content.
  • Leverage the graduate level education and skills acquired in that period of study to break problems and solutions into logical components and guide other engineers to deliver distributed scalable systems solving large scale data and machine learning problems.
  • Model compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

  As a member of the Smart Forecasting group, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing and testing code change required for Forecasting platform for the company. You'll independently handle high impact, critical software/systems monitoring issues, troubleshoot business and production issues.
