User Acceptance Tester II

The expected salary range for this position is $78,220.00 - $97,760.00. Employees in specific high cost of labor locations in the United States (such as San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA) may qualify for a geographic differential. As a User Acceptance Tester II you will be responsible for implementing test strategy, test plans, maintaining manual and automated tests for various services and USA products. You will perform test, evaluate and analyze test results for new or modified services applications and programs. This tester formulates recommendations and verifies that programs function according to user requirements and are fit for use. At this intermediate level, you will generally work independently on moderately complex issues or as a team member on larger projects.

• Act as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understand Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commit to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abide by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Report any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately support responses to incidents if they occur.

• Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors.

• Conducts a wide range of quality control tests and analyzes to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end user requirements.

• Performs quality assurance and testing in an environment that typically uses state-of-the-art software applications testing processes (i.e., testing "clean room") but may also include manual QA/Testing.

• Helps draft and revise test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and department strategy.

• Develops and/or revises test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow.

• Collaborates with users to implement user acceptance testing, alpha and beta testing.

• Ensures that system tests are successfully completed and documented and all problems are resolved.

• May provide coaching and mentoring to lower level user acceptance tester staff and also advises and counsels managers, and employees on user acceptance testing policies and procedures.

What do you bring?

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

• Three years relevant experience working in this or related field

• Experience working with SPLUNK, POSTMAN, API testing, AWS a plus

• Platform testing experience a plus

• Experience with mobile platforms (ios, Android) a plus

• Agile Methodology experience a plus
