Base Pay Range: $65,200.00 - $110,800.00 Annually

Group/Division

The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

The User Experience Engineer in the GSS Digital Transformation works across Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support teams to drive improved UX work flow in Service processes, team communication, data and user security management, and user research for improving data products.

The main responsibility of the User Experience Engineer is to work closely with business process owners and Information Technology teams to develop solutions for KLA Global Support and Services. A User Experience Engineer works to reduce user friction and minimizes unintended consequences in data consumption. This can be done by setting accurate and consistent language across all data production and designing, implementing and managing GSS dashboard styles and UX principles. The right candidate will be passionate about improving user experience by development and optimization of UI elements such as layout, hierarchies, buttons, links, inclusive color schemes, etc.

Qualifications

• BA/BS/MS degree in Computer Science related and Human Centered Design field preferred
• UX modeling software experience (Figma, UXpin, lucid chart other)
• Communication software experience (Populo, Workvivo, Simpplr, other)
• User Research and survey software experience (Survey Monkey, other)
• MS Office applications (MS Excel, Power BI, Power Query)
• Industry background in Business Operations, Financial and/or Information Technology (IT) is a plus
• Strong business insights
• Proficient in building or prototyping User Interfaces
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications
• Ability to transform data into easily consumed, relevant insights for our data consumers in operational dashboards
• Knowledge of and curiosity about the latest trends in data industry

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
