User Experience Lead

We are currently seeking a Senior UX Lead who will be responsible for UX research and design for our multi-product clinical flow cytometry ecosystem.

In this role you will:

• Influence product design across our entire flow cytometry ecosystem. This spans reagents, sample preparation instruments, cytometers, and analysis and workflow software
• Guide user need discovery and definition
• Lead UX Design across multi-product and touchpoint user journeys
• Lead solution concept testing
• Lead usability testing

Ideal candidate will possess:

• Demonstrated experience with design and execution of concept and usability testing to deliver experiences that are useful, usable, beautiful, and intuitive
• Proven ability to develop wireframes, prototypes, user workflows, product workflows, and high-fidelity mockups to describe, communicate, and test proposed user
• Experience articulating economic tradeoffs to design choices and provide options to leadership that achieve user needs and business objectives
  Minimum Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience -OR- Masters with 3 years' of related experience in software and hardware interface design including complex systems for user experience
  It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
• Ability to discover and promote opportunities of hardware and software co-design for a wholistic perspective on the solution space to pain points
• Willingness to prioritize team effort so it is placed on the highest frequency and frustration pain points

While this role is advertised online in many cities, due to the critical nature of this role in support of the global organizational platform and required ongoing collaboration with key stakeholders, you are eligible for a hybrid work arrangement in which you can work part-time from your home office located within a reasonable commuting distance to one of the following Beckman Coulter locations:

• Indianapolis, Indiana
• Loveland, Colorado

The salary range for this role ($104,000 - $125,000 base) is min-mid range. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

• This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
