Who you are:
As a User Experience Manager, you are our leader, you will guide and develop a team of designers who collaborate with strategy and product leaders to preserve the vision of the user experience at Frost, while exploring emerging technologies and staying current with industry advancements. Our managers have a genuine care for people and consistently strive to lead with integrity, caring, and excellence.
What you'll do:
- Leverage expertise in design standards and best practices to ensure the emphasis of user-centered design methodologies in Frost's digital products to satisfy customer needs, enhance satisfaction, and deliver organic growth
- Analyze usability studies, customer interviews, focus groups results, surveys, and competitive benchmarking to better understand Frost customers and find any areas of potential improvement
- Develop and execute a strategy that streamlines the design process and pushes the boundaries where design and business intersect
- Delegate and manage UX deliverables and allocate resources to various projects while ensuring timely completion and manageable deadlines
- Work closely with product leadership and product managers to lead collaboration between the UX and product experience teams
- Exercise the usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions and salary recommendations, and terminations
- Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Information Science, in related field or equivalent experience
- 6+ years' experience in product management, customer experience management, business analysis, software engineering or related business experience
- Experience with Sketch, Invision, Photoshop, or other prototyping software
- Experience with mobile and desktop design work, including Apple and Android products
- Expert-level skill in modern research methods, including usability testing, phone interviews, and focus groups
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated experience in setting strategy with impact to the organization's bottom line
- Expert understanding of Frost's digital products
- Proven experience leading strategic and organizational initiatives
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Experience with creating and implementing Design Language Systems
- A portfolio that demonstrates past user experience management success
