User Interface + Experience Developer (UI/UX)

Position Information:

BreakForth Solutions is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic User Interface + Experience Developer (UI/UX) to support our agile development teams and ensure they follow the technical approach designed for one of our engagements.

Essential Functions

• Facilitate client's product visions by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital products.
• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for various devices and interfaces.
• Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
• Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs.
• Work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
• Apply extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
• Demonstrate an understanding of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns.
• Iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
• Effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design.
• Collaborate and communicate closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to evaluate design solutions for approval.
• Research and showcase knowledge of the industry's latest trends and technologies.
• Apply skills in standard design tools, specifically Adobe Creative Suite.
• Utilize tools such as, basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Education/Skills/Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience is required.
• BS, Computer Science or related discipline.

Desired Knowledge/Skills

Having Coding or Programming knowledge is a plus.
