User Interface (UI) Engineer

Two Six Technologies  is seeking an experienced and motivated User Interface Engineer or UI Engineer. This person will work within a cross-functional development team focused on advancing the state-of-the-art in cyber security technology enhanced by artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Responsibilities will include working with the customer to refine feature requests, producing and implementing UI designs while aligning other software engineering efforts with the UI design.

Minimum requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship; Ability to obtain & maintain a DoD clearance
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in technical design
• Experience with modern UI development (e.g., Vue.js / Angular.js/Angular)
• Strong CSS
• Excellent communication skills
• Work with UI engineer to best integrate UI and UX efforts

An ideal candidate will also have:

• An active DoD clearance (Top Secret or above)
• Exposure to DevSecOps and Agile environments and processes
• Experience with technical design software (e.g., Adobe XD, Photoshop, After Effects)
• Experience with modern web frameworks
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• A self-driven work ethic and a willingness to jump in and solve hard problems
• Adept at simplifying and communicating complex ideas
• Prior experience in cybersecurity

Work Requirements

• Expected on-site support 2-3 days a week for 3-4 hours each day
• Remote/hybrid work model, per employee’s discretion, at other times
