THE ROLEÂ
As a full-time Associate Design Director with Credera XD, you will lead teams to create first-in-class consumer websites, web & mobile applications, eCommerce solutions, customer portals and branding across multiple industry categories that include Fortune 100 companies. You will actively work on projects, as well as lead more junior members of the team to execute on your creative direction. By synthesizing learnings and using design thinking methods, you’ll create and lead design solutions that serve the needs of millions of users around the world. Analysts, researchers, and other technology specialists will also be part of a broader team you’ll be collaborating with to bring visionary concepts to life. You have a distinct design and UX point of view and you will participate in XD practice area growth and collaboration. Our user-centered approach means you are also engaged with users through a variety of innovative activities such as design sprints, user interviews, and usability testing sessions.Â

- Leads teams and steward clients toward more strategic design solutionsÂ
- Sets the vision and design direction and thoughtfully and purposefully solve problems for people, backed by research and user-understanding Â
- Mentors junior designers as they take the design vision forward producing additional mockups, flows, prototypes, and hi-fidelity assets. Â
- Participates in project discovery activities with our XD Insights & Strategy team members (building a story, doing competitive research, creating user personas, helping to define overall strategy and vision, etc.) Â
- Collaborates with Credera management consulting and technology leads to deliver comprehensive client solutions that serve real business needs, are technically sound, and deliver an amazing customer experience 
- Has stellar presentation skills with the ability to articulate and defend the creative vision and choices to project teams and client executives Â
- Has excellent demonstrated visual design skills, including color, typography and layout and the ability to mentor others to develop these skillsÂ
- Enjoys learning and growing as a leader in our practice area with a clear path toward career advancement (recognition, salary and bonus rewards available along the way) Â
- Keeps up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies/techniquesÂ
- Has the ability to work as a part of a diverse teamÂ

QualificationsÂ
- Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in the area of Visual Art and Design, Human Computer Interaction and/or related field of study Â
- 6+ years of related experience
- Impressive portfolio of work that showcases how you develop and create best-in-class solutions. Â
- Experience working in product design and development sprintsÂ
- Knows how to manage a team of designers
- Proficient with design software such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite Â
- Effective verbal and written communication skillsÂ
- Must be authorized to work in the United StatesÂ
Travel: Varies based on project assignmentsÂ
Bonus PointsÂ
- Skills in motion graphics and micro-interactionsÂ

Along with a great company culture, we provide an outstanding compensation package including a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefit plan (e.g., medical, dental, disability, matching 401k, PTO, etc.). This position is an exempt position.Â
For individuals hired to work in Colorado, Credera is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and includes the range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; etc. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would be near the top end of the compensation range, but that decision will be dependent on the facts associated with each specific individual’s relevant experience for the role.  A reasonable estimate of the range is $137,000 - $165,000.
