The Human Resources function at JPMorgan Chase is shifting to a product-focused way of working. We want to delight our customers with frictionless, personalized Human Resources experiences across moments that matter. We're seeking for someone that combines strategy and design, utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to create practical, creative, and effective user experiences. Leveraging existing and helping to build new digital capabilities across multiple platforms.
As a design strategist, you will work collaboratively with other Experience Designers, Researchers, Content, and Stakeholders to solve complex problems in change management, design systems, user experience and more. You will have a holistic view that enables you to understand both macro and micro experiences, utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to help create a fully integrated, seamless, omni-channel user-centric experience across HR customer journeys. We are seeking an individual who can collaborate with all levels of the organization to create and deliver user-centered strategies to continuously improve the end-to-end experiences we deliver across our products.

Job Responsibilities
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and able to conceive ideas at an early stage of development
- Think at a systems level and envision strategies that leverage context and trends
- Design and facilitate group workshops and design exercises
- Create sophisticated design language that includes illustration, image, typography, color, motion, and interaction
- Strong experience creating and implementing design thinking frameworks
- Systems Thinking: Make sense of complex systems by mapping journeys and connections between data points
- Build excellent partnerships with Product Management, Technology, Data & Analytics, Listening and others to deliver excellent customer experiences and measure impact
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience working as a user experience professional
- Bachelor's degree in design, business, or human behavior
- Strong experience creating and implementing design thinking frameworks
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience with user-centered design practices, methods and tools
- Experience generating user-friendly reports with strategic thinking and visuals
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Complex industry experience in fintech, insurtech, or healthtech
- Ideation: Generate novel ideas through lateral thinking and rigorously evaluate designs for feasibility and impact
- Inspire teams by being a leader and advocate for design
- You take pride in being a relationship builder, negotiator and problem solver.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment while being flexible
- Able to handle rapidly changing scenarios and make tough trade off decisions
