UX Designer

About the Role

Our Product Team is growing! Mastery is looking for a UX Designer who will work closely with the designers, product managers, and engineers responsible for bringing the product to life. This team member will help us craft clean, consistent, and user-centered interfaces for our product.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with cross-functional teams and design peers to create new features, new products, and product updates in a fast-paced environment
• Leaad user research activities to understand the unmet needs of our customers
• Lead and execute usability testing for features and enhancements; analyze results and work with Product Managers to prioritize issues
• Design prototypes for web and mobile user interfaces that demonstrate the appearance and behavior of implemented features
• Work side-by-side with software engineers and designers to ensure that features are delivered with the intended user experience

Requirements

• 3+ years working in UX Design or a related role
• Experience performing user testing, user interviews, and other forms of UX research
• Solid experience with Figma, Sketch, Invision, etc.
• Strong prototyping and wireframing skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take ownership for working through ambiguity
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• A strong online portfolio with samples showcasing their experience in interaction and creativity

Nice to Have

• Interest in mentoring Junior level UX designers

Mastery Logistics Systems is building the world’s first lovable Transportation Management System, or TMS. 

Our customers – large transportation companies and shippers who need those companies – have struggled with systems that are outdated or inadequate. As shippers or transportation service providers, our customers have in the past been forced to use multiple systems to manage dedicated fleet operations, outsourced or insourced trans management, one way trucking, truckload brokerage, LTL, and Intermodal, or to sub-optimize one or more of those functions by attempting to fit it into a TMS that is adequate at another function.
