UX Designer (5206)

As UX Designer, you’ll apply a Design Operations approach aligned with the U.S. Digital Services Playbook in order to design the user experience for a new and modernized system.  The UX Designer will be responsible for conducting user and design research, as well as conceptualizing, designing and improving the usability of the system.

What you’ll do:

• You will collaborate as part of a Scrum team to apply a DesignOps approach to creating the UX Design of a new modernized system.
• You will work with clients, a scrum master, business analysts, developers and other design specialists to research, analyze and iterate on the design components of a new, modernized system.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• You have the ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability
• You have experience designing the UX for a new modernized system;
• You have experience conducting user research, developing personas, creating design assets such as user journey maps in support of the design of a new system;
• You have experience iteratively designing wireframes, diagrams and prototypes for a new system;
• You have experience analyzing system requirements in order to optimize user interface design based on user needs;
• You have strong conceptualization and visual communication abilities
