POSITION DETAILS

Position: UX/UI Designer

Department: Information Technology

Status: Full-time

Office: Arlington | ~4 days per month

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a talented and experienced UX/UI Designer to join our team! The User Experience team is a highly collaborative closely knit team, which allows us to have a big and far-reaching impact across the firm. You will have the unique opportunity to create designs from start to finish, present designs for feedback, see designs come to life in the development process, and witness the impact the designs have on our users. Our team sets the standard for UX/UI designs, patterns, and interactions across the various applications at Cambridge Associates to provide a consistent experience for our users.

RESPONSIBILITIES

o Work with a team of designers on complex User Experience interactions and UI interfaces.

o Partner with the product team on feature requirements and create mockups to get buy in for new features and enhancements.

o Present design work to the team and product stakeholders for review and feedback.

o Work closely with developers to ensure new features meet design expectations.

o Conduct user testing sessions with users and collect feedback to then propose a UX solution.

o Manage and use a design system to produce consistent UI patterns.

QUALIFICATIONS

o Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, UX/UI Design, or a related field.

o 3 years of experience as a User Experience and User Interface designer.

o Expert in design tools such as Figma (preferred), or similar. Basic HTML and CSS knowledge is a plus.

o Extensive experience designing end-to-end for web, app, and digital design.

o Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and tracking/incorporating feedback into designs.

o Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.

o Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

o Some experience with requirements writing.

o Ability to work across multiple projects with competing priorities.

o Passion for finance and investing.
