UX Designer

​​Demiurge is searching for a UX designer to join our talented UX team. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in the UX design process - wireframing prototyping user research etc - and is familiar with all manner of games and game types on mobile and console platforms. You’re comfortable generating your own tasks and scoping them accordingly. You enjoy getting feedback and learning from different perspectives in order to hone your designs and work.

Responsibilities

• Create amazing intuitive interfaces for our games!Create amazing intuitive interfaces for our games!

• Early project planning and task orientation

• Wireframing and prototyping core layouts and concepts

• Work closely with design and engineering to establish UI development pipelines and feature requirements

• Critique your own and others' work constructively and raise our internal experience bar

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working on Game UX

• Demonstrable ownership of a shipped feature from wireframe to development to polish

• Excellent personal written and oral communication skills

• Broad knowledge of the many requirements and steps involved in delivering high-quality interface art

• Skilled with industry tools: Illustrator XD Figma Photoshop Sketch

• Strong sense of graphic design font color

• Portfolio or demo reel that demonstrates breadth of skill styles genres

• Must be eligible to work in the United States

Nice to have

• Traditional illustration/fine arts training

• Experience in mobile console and pc interface development

• Experience with client relations

• Passion for games of all sorts

• Outside interests!
