Indeed Flex (formerly Syft) is a product acquired by Indeed. The US team here at Indeed aims to help them accelerate and expand in the US market. The current staffing model is broken, with low wages and limited opportunities. As flexible work continues to grow, Indeed Flex takes a radically different approach: providing job seekers with control, ownership and choice, so employees can find the working patterns and scenarios to suit their lifestyles. In doing so, Indeed Flex aims to revolutionize the industry.

We are looking for a designer driven by curiosity to sketch and create prototypes that assess the viability of the team’s ideas. To assist your expertise, we aim to provide you with an environment where people feel excited to collaborate and experiment.

We are seeking a creative and skilled Mid-Level UX Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design intuitive and engaging user experiences for our digital products. Your expertise will contribute to the entire design process, from concept development to wireframing and prototyping. If you are passionate about crafting user-centered designs and have a knack for problem-solving, we invite you to bring your talents to our innovative projects.

This is a 12 month contract position.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand project goals and user requirements.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that effectively communicate design concepts.
  • Develop UI designs that align with the overall user experience strategy.
  • Ensure a seamless and cohesive user journey across different digital platforms.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX design.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a UX Designer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to iterate on designs based on feedback.
  • Portfolio showcasing previous UX design projects is required.
