Overview

North America's largest wine and spirits distributor, Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, is seeking a talented UX Designer to join our growing Digital Transformation team. Reporting to the Director, User Experience, this individual will be responsible for creating and enhancing user interfaces for the industry-leading Proof® eCommerce platform leveraged by over 100,000 businesses across the US. The ideal candidate will have a passion for user-centered design, a strong understanding of user research and testing methodologies, and the ability to translate complex concepts into intuitive, user-friendly designs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Partner closely with UX Researchers to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points, and Product Owners to define design requirements• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to ensure that user needs are met, and design standards are maintained• Employ customer-centric design thinking to shape the future state of our digital products• Develop user personas, user journeys, user flows and wireframes to guide the design process• Build storyboards to conceptualize designs to accurately convey project plans to product teams, cross-functional partners, and leadership• Create low- and high-fidelity prototypes and design specifications for web and mobile interfaces• Support usability testing and leverage feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on designs• Ensure that designs are responsive, accessible, and meet the latest design trends and best practices• Define interaction models, user task flows, and UI (user interface) specifications• Work with developers to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and according to design specifications• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UX design

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or related field• 3+ years of experience in UX design• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions and design process• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or InVision• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, user research methods, and usability testing• Experience designing for web and mobile platforms• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities• Highly collaborative spirit with a passion for achieving best-in-class, customer-centered user experience design• Highly organized with strong attention to detail• Battle-tested interpersonal and conflict-resolution abilities• Exceptional written and verbal communication including executive-level presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications• Familiarity with Scaled Agile delivery and support models• Experience designing for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)• Hands-on experience with Adobe Target and any other 3rd party testing platforms, such as, Optimize, Maximiser or Optimizely• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
