UX Designer II

As a UX Designer at EOG Resources you will become an integral part of our UX Design Team. Our fast and fun environment will provide you with opportunities to experience disciplines of Human Centered Design, Visual Design, Interaction Design and UI Development. In this role, you will work closely with all teams to provide the quality of the design and usability needed to deliver excellent user experiences for web, desktop, mobile and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Work across all disciplines of UX to design, develop and review applications for web, desktop and mobile
• Work with Subject Matter Experts to design early design concepts and iterative prototypes
• Identify gaps between the current and the ideal user experience to drive innovation focus and purpose
• Continuously challenge the effectiveness of design, recommending changes, as appropriate
• Work with each team to identify and recruit end-users for involvement throughout the design process
• Work with UX team to build, implement and maintain a design language system

Job Requirements

• Masters or Bachelor's in Information Science, Interaction or Product Design, Graphic Design preferred. High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years related experience preferred.
• Ability to present to Senior Leadership and promote UX throughout the organization
• Desire to be mentored and coached by UX team members
• Experience working with cross functional teams and strong collaboration
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects
• Entrepreneurial spirit, flexible to change, high tolerance for ambiguity and self-motivated
• Comfortable making decisions independently as well as within a team
• Experience using Figma, Abstract, Sketch, Adobe CC Suite, Office 365
