Job Description
It takes a lot to succeed in today's fast-paced market, and Cognizant Digital Experience has become a leader in the industry. We love big ideas and even bigger ambitions. We stand out because we put human experiences at the core.
We help clients engage customers by envisioning and building innovative products and services. But we don't stop there. We develop go-to-market strategies and invent entirely new business models, ensuring that every company we work with walks away with both inspiration and a plan.
Our strength is built on our ability to work together. Our diverse backgrounds offer different perspectives and new ways of thinking. It encourages lively discussions, inspires thought leadership, and helps us build better solutions for our clients. We want someone who thrives in this setting and is inspired to craft meaningful solutions through true collaboration.
If you're comfortable with ambiguity, excited by change, and excel through autonomy, we'd love to hear from you.
Who you are:
Your professional journey has brought you to this moment.
As the UX Designer, you bridge the customer experience to the business. UX designers build useful products that improve people's lives. They create the interactions between humans and digital experiences. For them the user always comes first. Through research and co-creative design workshops, they identify pain points, unmet needs, and areas of opportunity that lead to ideas, concepts and prototypes.
You've been called an information architect and designer, but you're also an anthropologist and psychologist. You observe user behavior, listen to what users' say, empathize with their joy and pain that you translate into relevant, interactive experiences tailored to the context.
You manage user experience design pre-sales activities from design thinking innovation workshops to prototype development. That voice in the room is your voice, leading the user experience conversation with clients - inspiring their thinking and architecting concepts to help land the next big deal.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Act as a go-to human-centered design expert in the Manufacturing (incl Automotive), Logistics, Utilities & Energy (MLEU) Vertical
- Be the voice in the room to evangelize HCD with internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to the BD effort, supporting RFP and pitch creation across DX opportunities within the MLEU vertical
- Provide ideas and feedback to fuel DX opportunities with clients in the MLEU vertical
- Organize diverse data sets and varied content types into innovative ideas and design concepts that are intuitive and easy for users to understand
- Present design mock-ups/prototypes and ideas to internal teams and client stakeholders in pre-sales efforts
- Design and facilitate successful presentations and workshops for senior executive level clients
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple BD efforts
- Contribute to pre-sales, scoping, client reviews and negotiations
