Job Description

As a UX Intern, you will work largely on assignments supporting our Information Technology function at the company. You will have the opportunity to partner across teams and senior leaders to learn from them as they have built extraordinary careers in commercial real estate and technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in projects with various stakeholders on the IT team and cross-company business partners.
  • Meet with key stakeholders to gather requirements for our multiple projects
  • This UX Intern will assist in creating and conducting usability tests, evaluative studies, presentations of findings, and ideating creative usable solutions
  • The UX Intern will advocate for user goals and design solutions that satisfy user needs
  • Create requirement documents that identify problems to be solved, user needs, and proposed solutions
  • Create low-fidelity as well as high-fidelity wireframes for presentations and feedback meetings
  • Support the tech team in creating high-quality deliverables with guidance from the Product Managers
  • Create design documentation for interaction behavior and new features, to facilitate implementation
  • Assist developers with HTML and CSS design updates
  • Respond to requests in a timely manner, ensuring projects move along and stakeholders are updated
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in College or University (Undergrad degree by June 2024 Preferred) pursuing a Bachelor's degree in UX or related field
  • Self-motivated and proactive, both with respect to managing workload and own professional development
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, creative, analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Highly motivated to succeed in a team environment
  • Previous internship or class experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Wire-framing/Prototyping tools, such as Sketch or Figma
