About the RoleÂ
We are looking for a UX Researcher to help craft the future of Product for Stylitics. You will be tasked with crafting and building the research function for Stylitics. Stylitics Products serve a wide variety of retailers, as a UX Researcher you will drive impactful research initiatives across a wide variety of user sets. You will collaborate with designers, product managers and other partners across the company. We are looking for an expert presenter and storyteller, who is passionate about user experience and human interaction.
What you will do:Â
- Defining the foundational questions and structure that guide our UX research program
- Owning and leading research planning and execution
- Partnering with UX/UI designers, digital products, and other key stakeholders to create research plans for all phases of the product delivery lifecycle
- Facilitate human-centered design workshops to frame problems and opportunities
- Partner with UX Designers to infuse consumer feedback (research) tactics into the overall design process
- Coordinating and assisting with carrying out those research plans
- Socializing your findings across the company to help ensure a shared understanding of our consumers
- Establish templates, best practices, and standard operating procedures and provide leadership within the Research discipline to aid in the development and direction of the Research team
- Synthesizing the results of those tests and presenting actionable insights to cross-functional team members and key stakeholders
- Defining the long-term Research Roadmap that directly correlates with our digital product Roadmap to help guide what features and functionality should be prioritized within the overall product ecosystem
Must-have Qualifications:Â
- 4 years of experience in an applied research setting, or similar
- Experience with research design utilizing various methods (e.g., usability studies, contextual inquiry, surveys, etc.)
- Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process
- Proficiency in communicating user research findings with cross-functional partners to drive impact
- Experience running focus group and conducting user interviews
Nice to Have Qualifications:Â
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with Usertesting, maze, and others
