UX Researcher (5067)

As UX Researcher, you’ll be be a part of the Agile ceremonies and contribute to the cross-functional team’s continuous understanding of user insights. You will also define audiences and segment users across multiple domains and conduct user interviews. The UX Researcher will also define and recommend key UX strategies and serve as a trusted advisor to clients and team members.

What you’ll do:

• Serves as lead researcher on user experience research initiatives
• Work in coordination with engineering and productions for all UX, design, and research
• Act as the "go to" person who oversees the entire process from conception to implementation
• Write research plans and conversation guides
• Conduct user and client interviews, client meetings, and demos
• Iterate solutions based on research and feedback loops
• Develop wireframes, information architecture, PDDs for all web projects based on business and functionality requirements and approved concepts
• Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Have or the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, UX Design, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in the UX field as a researcher or strategist.
• Experience with generative and evaluative research.
• Experience with information architecture such as card sorting, tree testing, or both.
• Experience with content management systems such as Drupal 10.
• Experience working as part of a cross-functional Agile development team.
• Experience developing wireframes and information architecture
