Location: This role is completely remote-friendly . If you happen to live close to one of our physical office locations our doors are open for you to come into the office as often as you'd like.
As a UX Researcher in our Consumer Product org you’ll investigate user behavior and needs using qualitative methods to design and conduct foundational and evaluative research to guide executive decision-making. The ideal candidate will leverage their research skills to drive product strategy and improve the user experience for new and future users of Reddit.
Responsibilities:

Design and execute high-quality high-impact research studies focusing primarily on foundational and generative work.

Drive communication and collaboration with cross-functional partners including engineering data science design product/program management etc.

Drive product strategy across product pillars via actionable insights and strong partnership with Product Design Engineering and other cross-functional team members.
Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience conducting research in-house at consumer tech company

Demonstrated expertise in qualitative research methods including when and how to apply them during each product development phase.

Detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Experience leading strategy via partnership with product managers designers engineers and data scientists.

Excellent interpersonal organizational written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to synthesize data into concise actionable insights.

Can prioritize time between multiple projects and be flexible adapting to changing priorities while maintaining project velocity.
Nice to Haves:
-
Masters or Ph.D. in Anthropology Psychology Statistics Behavioral Science Human-Computer Interaction related fields or equivalent experience.
