UX Researcher II

UX Researcher II, Costa Mesa, CA
Responsibilities: Supporting the UX research lifecycle to include gathering requirements, meeting with stakeholders to establish objectives, recruiting test participants, creating test plans, and conducting user research. Analyzing user feedback and translating the feedback into actionable insights that align with business goals and measurable customer experience outcomes. Creating user feedback summaries, presentation decks, and other UX research artifacts. Presenting user feedback and actionable insights to product, ecomm, marketing, and design teams. Updating user testing backlog, user research schedules, and other project documents. Applying knowledge in the user centered design process to product and service design in an iterative development environment. Researching interaction design standards and technology trends.
Qualifications: THIS POSITION REQUIRES A BACHELOR’S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN GRAPHIC DESIGN, COMPUTER INFORMATION SYSTEMS, COMPUTER SCIENCE, PRODUCT DESIGN, HUMAN-COMPUTER INTERACTION, OR IN A CLOSELY RELATED FIELD, PLUS 3 YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A CLOSELY RELATED OCCUPATION.
Special Requirements: REQUIRED SKILLS: EXPERTISE/KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Experience in facilitating research planning meetings to identify stakeholder needs and define research objectives.
- Proficiency with UI design tools such as Figma, InVision, Adobe Suite, etc.
- Experience in creating wireframes and prototypes for user testing purposes.
- Experience in usability standards and user-centered design principles.
- Experience in creating screener surveys and recruiting research participants.
- Experience in the telecommunications industry, especially prepaid.
- Experience in synthesizing qualitative research data into actionable insights and presenting them to stakeholders.
- Proficiency with various remote UX research methods such as usability tests, surveys, and user interviews.

Salary Offered: $110,000 - $120,000 per year

In support of the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the range of starting pay for this role is $110,000 - $120,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location.
