UX Strategist (Remote)

What you will be doing
AmerisourceBergen is looking for a passionate, creative, and experienced UX Strategist to join our growing experience design & research team dedicated to bringing new products and services to market in coordination with our Innovation Strategy counterparts. The UX Strategist role is responsible for partnering withour internal and external customers to deliver our User-Centered Design services including but not limited to:
- Customer and user experience research (in-depth interviews, surveys, research readouts, etc.)
- User experienceactivities (service blueprints, journeymaps, personas,solution ideation, low fidelity wireframes, etc.)

- Bring to the table each day: a positive attitude, a true "team" spirit, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to display sound decision making under pressure
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experience conducting user research as well as the ability to analyze, synthesize and present research findings
- Proficiency with qualitative and quantitative user research methods, such as in-depth interviews, surveys, etc.
- Experience creating, maintaining, and working with service blueprints, customer journey maps, personas, workflows, etc.
- Contribute to the overall advancement and improvement of processes, introducing and documenting new additions as necessary
- Lead design research initiatives focused on understanding user needs and translating these intoservice, solution, andproduct strategies and experiences
- Conceive and test ideas that challenge the status quo and deliver high quality user experiences that raise the bar in terms of innovation, simplicity, and consistency
- Ability to translate complex business requirements and user needs into workflows, wireframes and intuitive user experiences that are technically feasible
- Ability to manage involvement from otherDesign, Business, andProductteammembers, including researchers, designers,business stakeholders/sponsors,product owners,product specialists andengineersand drive design through influence
- Communicate user behaviors and insights in compelling ways, focusing on actionable recommendations for cross-functional teams
- Create user experiences that are optimized for delivery across multiple platforms
- Help defineservice, solution, andproduct requirements by collaborative brainstorming and high-level prototyping with partner teams
What your background should look like
Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI) or equivalent relevant professional experience is required. 5+ years experience in digital product design and research for both web and mobile platforms. Experience working in a mixed methodology environment (waterfall, agile, scrum, etc.). Experience researching and designing solutions for complex applications. Strong product design strategy skills in areas of consumer/user research and analysis, personas and customer journeys, design thinking, ideation and brainstorming techniques, prototyping, and concept validation. Ability to understand & create user-flows, annotated wireframes and content structure. Ability to work closely with agile squads to drive effective and efficient implementation of designs. High-level knowledge of how HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web languages impact design process and development. Excellent presentation, communication, documentation and organization skills.
- Persuasive presence, including ability to partner with and effectively influence product and engineer leaders
- Skilled at communicating verbally and in writing to diverse audiences
- Proactive self-starter; assertive and able to ensure that good product design principles are adhered to
- High-level knowledge of how HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web languages impact design process and development.
- Ability to quickly re-prioritize in a dynamic environment
- Analytical mindset and creativity to balance detailed problem solving with 'big picture' strategic view
- This role is open to REMOTE, USA
- This role will work mostly with stakeholders on EST time so candidate must be willing to work predominantly EST hours

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
