About the Role

Grio is looking for part-time and full-time UX & Visual Designers to join our consulting pool as 1099 employees. In this role, consultants will design web and mobile applications, websites and contribute to other creative projects that involve brand identity. Work may also involve researching design concepts, creating interactive prototypes, producing polished and detailed visual design & application interfaces, and collaborating with cross functional teams to create strategy and solve problems.

About You

As a consultant, you have previous experience working in a client-facing role in a design agency, can work independently and autonomously, pivot easily and run in a different direction when needed, and can receive constructive feedback without losing momentum. We are seeking someone who enjoys simplifying complex workflows, advocating for users, has problem-solving and active listening skills with the ability to ask critical questions of clients, and can communicate designs and their nuances to engineers and stakeholders. You should have strong experience working with a distributed workforce in a highly-collaborative environment.
