Job Description

A UX Writer II within our Digital Product teams is primarily responsible for executing and driving forward a digital content strategy for assigned product(s) that meets both audience needs and business goals and is cohesive with ALSAC's digital content strategy guidelines, as well as content and user experience best practices. Working within and across agile product teams, they are responsible for collaborating directly with other UX Writers, UX Designers, User Interface specialists, and other content contributors, curate, test and publish effective web content, UX writing, microcontent and product support content within the lens of assigned product experiences. They would also contribute to product strategy for assigned product(s) in collaboration with the Digital Product team, audience researchers, business partners and stakeholders.

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree and 3-5+ years experience.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Experience writing content for web/mobile products.
  • Experience conducting user research including activities such as usability testing, online surveys, focus groups, user observation and field research.
  • Understanding of quantitative, behavioral analysis and statistical concepts.
  • Knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, user-centered design principles and practices.
  • Strong conceptual and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and rapidly changing technology.
  • Strong understanding of current technology offerings and the ability to stay current with emerging trends.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and user acceptance techniques and their ability to enhance products.
  • Ability to communicate recommendations clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with the Adobe Experience Manager or other content management systems a plus.
  • Experience working within analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics preferred.
