This role can be based out of either our Atlanta, GA or Boise, ID office locations.

What you'll do

  • As a Senior UX Designer, you will be responsible for shaping the design of Kount's products and experiences.
  • As a member of an agile team, you will work closely with the Product team, Developers, and other stakeholders to ensure every step of the user experience communicates the overall design vision and meets our customers' needs.
  • You will have a strong desire to understand our customers and the business, collaborate with teammates and work independently to own and deliver UI/UX priorities and projects.
  • Understand our brand, products, and users to produce high quality designs in accordance to brand guidelines and UX best practices
  • Work with other designers, product managers, and developers to oversee new user experiences from concept to launch
  • Ability to translate UX research insights into wireframes, prototypes, and user flows
  • Provide final, pixel-perfect UI designs with specifications for developers
  • Create, follow, and update style guides and design pattern libraries to ensure consistent implementation
  • Design icon and graphic assets for use across various digital channels
  • Understand customer goals, business requirements, and technical constraints to work within project parameters
  • Effective at brainstorming, sketching, and mocking up multiple visual ideas to satisfy design requirements
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects under tight deadlines, working independently and/or with the design team
  • Be able to articulate design decisions

What experience you need

  • Bachelor's Degree in design-related field
  • 5+ years' experience working in a UI/UX Design role
  • Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer with a portfolio of past projects
  • Strong understanding of core UI design principles, philosophies, and methodologies (typography, color, etc.)
  • Takes a user-centered approach to design
  • Experience creating, using, and maintaining design systems
  • Knowledge of mobile design standards and experience with responsive design best practices
  • Knowledge of accessibility design standards
  • Proficient in Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS
